For example, ask the fine art student about her interest in drawing, and her answer is brilliantly odd: "I used to draw dinosaurs when I was younger. Actually, I really wanted to be a dinosaur. Or a deer. In fact, one night in bed when I was five, I wished I was a deer, squeezed really hard and ended up wetting myself."
This casual, good-humoured bonkerness is why we love this sexy, self-aware and super-brilliant cover star - along with her stunning looks. Emily first appeared in Bizarre 163, when she clowned around in our circus special. And this issue's fiery extravaganza is so smoking it should come with its own 'Caution - Hot!' health warning.
FIERY GAL
The Leicester-born beauty began modelling a year ago for two reasons: she was bored, and wanted to get her artwork noticed. "And what better way of getting attention than getting my top off," she laughs. "I'm really into sculpture and like to create deformed figures, like people who've been attacked with Agent Orange. In my art I want to investigate modern society's views on body-modding. In fact, I want to change the world with delicious gore, one pustule at a time."
She's also a fan of taxidermy. "I love it because it freezes animals in their natural form," she explains. "Actually, taxidermy should be used on me when I die. That'd be much better than being shoved in the ground..."
Despite confidently strutting her hot stuff, Emily admits to being scared of fire. "I'm afraid it'll burn my hair off, and I only recently grew it back - a lot of it fell out after I dyed it too much," she explains. She's also cautious when it comes to the circus. "I only went once when I was seven," she recalls. "The clowns picked on my dad and threw a pie in his face. It didn't make me scared of clowns - I'm just prepared in case I'm in that situation again!"
GHOST STORIES
Right now, Emily is happy because her favourite time of year is just around the corner. "I love Halloween," she says. "One year I dressed up as an Oompa Loompa and another year I was Dracula. Last year I was a horrible bride, and my fiancée Tom wentas Ash from Army Of Darkness - he had a shotgun for an arm. We had a fake wedding, but instead of a reception we went on a rampage!"
When we ask Emily if she believes in the paranormal, she has a typically unique answer. "I've never seen a ghost but I'd keep an open mind about it," she muses. "I'd like to meet The Elephant Man's ghost if I could, just to say 'It's OK, John.' He had such a rough time; I'd take him out for buns. "Oh, if I do another shoot for Bizarre, can it be Elephant Man-themed? That'd be brilliant - oh, and then I could do an Elephant Man-themed burlesque show. I'd get a load of deformed people together to make their world a better place - I'd call it Emily's Army Of Deformed Fabulousness. You know, I think I've found a niche in the market..."
