I’d describe myself as a multi-coloured chameleonic pigeon girl! I started modelling while I was at university because I thought it might be fun. Looking back, the first shoots were pretty terrible, but at the time I thought I looked amazing! I posted the images on networking sites and eventually people started asking me to do stuff.
I’ve done a lot of creative shoots. I once did a nude, artistic shoot with my pet tarantula sitting on my body. It was fine, but her little feet hooks gave me an itchy rash on my chest and butt for several days afterwards. Actually, every time I shoot with that photographer, something entertaining happens. We were once shooting lingerie in a wood and somebody’s dog tried to run away with my clothes!
Once I was doing a shoot with my sister where we were dressed in rubber nun outfits and were spraying each other with rubber shiner in the changing rooms. We didn’t realise it would set off the fire alarm, and subsequently a bunch of firemen arrived at the studio – and they hung around for way longer than they needed to!
Catch me on a non-modelling day and I’m likely to be sitting on my sofa surrounded by sketch pads and covered in Indian ink. I spend a lot of time drawing, which is my ‘other’ job. I don’t plan in advance and I like just waking up and seeing what happens – but when I’m done with modelling I think I’d like to try and make a full-time career out of drawing pictures”
