Ms Decay, seen here modelling saucy suspenders and a cheeky grin, jumped at the chance to be Bettie for the day. "I've been told I can come out with some pretty cheesecake facial expressions and poses," she says. "So I decided to enter and try to capture the spirit of Bettie Page."

Judging by the pictures, you'd never guess this was Vicky's first time as the 50s fetish pin-up girl. "Being blonde I normally get compared to Marilyn Monroe," she says, "but Bettie stood out from other models because of her light-hearted approach to shoots. She knew how to pose to make the most of her assets; boobs out, tummy in and legs stretched out to show every curve."

Handcuffs, heels and whips were the order of the day at the shoot, but Vicky enjoyed squeezing herself into the retro outfits. "We shot recognisable props and outfits from Bettie's pictures. I loved the leather corset. It holds you in in all the wrong places and pushes out in all the right ones!"

The calibre of entrants was high, but we think you'll agree Ms Decay was a deserving winner to wear Bettie's crown.
