Flippin’ eck my hideous humping heaving Hush Puppies, how utterly amazing was the Bizarre Ball??! Yep, the cloakroom was a wee bit of a shambles, beer wasn’t dirt cheap, and the schedule got a tad messed up due to the last-minute venue change, but considering we managed to bag a location for around 2,000 people given only a few days’ notice after the police temporarily shut SeOne down, I think it was a TERRIFIC event. Woooooo! I just can’t tell you how glad I am that we managed to pull enough strings for the Ball to go ahead - I really think I would have sobbed into my Japanese cutesy mushroom-shaped pillow if we’d had to cancel.

It was such a treat to meet you all! What a crowd, huh?! More eye-candy than a Santa sack full of Woolies pick ‘n’ mix. So, did anyone manage to pull? (more…)

Foxy here, with a new blond and baby pink crop that I L.O.V.E., althogh various people have said it makes me resemble a/the lead singer of Roxette (’Come join the joyride!’) b/ Bridget Nielson and c/ Dolph Ludgren.

I wish I resembled Anita De Bauch, who I met yonks ago when in Yeovil reporting for Bizarre Britain, and who popped up this week in some snaps of hot ladyfolk perched on motorbikes promoting this weekend’s Xpo…

Our Chief Sub Eleanor is as succulent and sizzling as a chilli-basted piglet on a spit, plus she knows more about metal than an aluminium specialist - prick up your ears, as you’ll be hearing much more from her in future. Today, though, she claims she was searching for a hot water bottle (in August? Yeah right…) and came across some ‘Betty Beauty’ pube dye. Batman + Wanted = Foxy’s popcorn goes all soggy

Hello my glutinous globules of gelatinous gloriousness,

A little while ago I went to the flicks to see the new Angelina Jolie film, Wanted, with Tom Broadbent (our hairy orc Pictures Ed who wrote this month’s Not The Ed’s letter). I was a happy little bunny, because:

a/Tom didn’t try any tricks involving cutting a small hole in the bottom of the pick ‘n’ mix bag and poking anything through it (his wife would’ve killed him).
b/ We both agree that salty popcorn beats sweet’s ass with a giant meat tenderising mallet.
c/ Angelina Jolie has been my heroine since Hackers, and in my eyes she can do no wrong - even if a plot is absolute tripe, she captivates me… (more…)
