As Gian - Electric Eel Shock's naked drummer - pounds out Godzilla-sized beats with two sticks in either hand, bassist Kazuto sprints along walls Matrix-style without missing a note, and Afro'd singer Aki belts out blistering riffs on his Flying V that could burn your face off, it's hard not to fall on your knees and worship the Japanese kings of garage metal. But once the diminutive threesome come offstage, they're about as rock'n'roll as Alan Titchmarsh.
*EES rock like bastards - but it wasn't always like that, was it?
