Real-life tales of delusional cape-wearers

confessions of a superhero dvd review

This film from first-time documentary maker Matthew Ogen looks at the lives of four people who pose as superheroes on Hollywood Boulevard, hoping for an easy buck and their big screen break. It’s hilarious but cringeworthy, as everyone is a delusional screw-up – especially a Batman impersonator who says he’s a murderer. A meatier approach would’ve been better.
