While the savage world of fighting games is dominated by the likes of Tekken and Street Fighter, Soulcalibur has always been Bizarre's favourite. But it's more than its retina-scorching visuals and pompous sense of self-importance: it's just so damned kinky.
With a huge roster of pervy characters to choose from, a typical Soulcalibur battle sees a camp, bare-chested pirate with a bushy moustache kicking the crap out of a giggly Lolita whose pendulous norks are barely contained by a belt strap, or a lithe samurai girl with an outrageous camel-toe mercilessly whipping a sexy witch who's swapped her cowl and pointy hat for a tightly-laced leather basque and frilly French maid's dress.
But the brawler who'll capture your imagination most is Voldo - the perviest character in gaming history - who slithers and minces around the arenas like TV dancer Louie Spence, as imagined by artist Francis Bacon, intimidating his opponents with a nauseating thong that's deeply lodged between his gyrating butt cheeks.
And for the gameplay? This latest addition has refined attacks that allow for more strategic battles, tweaked defensive moves that punish the lily-livered, and Hollywood-standard production values. But it's the depravity that'll keep you coming back for more.
