Elephant Man (1980)
A Victorian surgeon rescues a heavily disfigured man who is mistreated while scraping a living as a side-show freak. Behind his monstrous facade a person of intelligence and sensitivity is revealed.

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
In a surprisingly scary and graphic scene for a family film, evil Nazis have their faces melted off and are all destroyed upon opening the Ark of the Covenant. Sorry for the spoiler!

The Box (2009)
Arlington Steward played by Frank Langella has lost half his face after being struck by lightning. The remaining half is just as scary.

Nightmare on Elm St (1984)
Freddy Krueger is burned alive by an angry mob of the parents whose children he terrorised and murdered. Years after his death, the children whose parents were responsible for Krueger's death are experiencing terrifying nightmares involving a burned man wearing a glove with razor blades on the fingers. The ghost of pizza-faced Freddy Krueger is haunting their dreams, and killing them violently in their sleep.

Die Another Day (2002)
One of the villains in Die Another Day, Zao was caught in an explosion in a diamond factory and his face tells the tale. After the diamond explosion, Zao is undergoing a course of gene therapy treatment. However, James Bond stops the procedure halfway through creating a truly frightening villain. With a pale white complexion, unreachable-looking blue eyes, veins on his face with diamonds embedded in his face and body, Zao truly is one of the scariest-looking villains in the series.

Dark Knight (2008)
Double facial trouble! The film has two disfigured villains, the Joker, whose father allegedly carved a smile into his face to giving him smiley scars, and Two-Face, whose face is burnt badly on the left hand side but not the right.

The Goonies (1985)
Five friends who call themselves The Goonies set out on a quest to find an ancient treasure in hopes of raising enough cash to save their neighbourhood from developers. The treasure is in a cavern located under the house of the evil Fratellis, including the severely disfigured Lotney "Sloth" Fratelli. Sloth ends up befriending the Goonies and decides to help them in their quest.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1939)
Although very old, this film is timelessly charming. Quasimodo is the deformed bell ringer locked away in Notre Dame, hated and ridiculed by the townspeople. He soon finds himself in an interesting and pretty sexy situation with a beautiful gypsy girl and his master.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
It has been ten long years since a Terminator failed to kill Sarah Connor and her unborn son, John. Now, Skynet has sent back another Terminator. This one being more advanced than the last one. John Connor, who is now ten years old, is the target. The future John sends back a replica of the Terminator that tried to kill him back in time to 1995. It's Terminator vs. Terminator

The Man Without A Face (1993)

Justin McLeod has been living the life of a recluse for seven years, ever since his face was horribly disfigured in a car accident and a fire. Known as Hamburger Head to the locals, he's the subject of many rumours and wild stories. Desperate for a tutor, a young local, Chuck, encounters the reclusive McLeod, and together they begin to help each other deal with a world that has shunned them both.
