A man unwillingly took part in his very own Jackass-style stunt when his wheelchair got trapped in the front of a lorry – hurtling him down an American highway at 50mph.

As the lorry driver left a petrol station, he didn’t know he’d scooped up Ben Carpenter – only stopping when police pulled him over several miles later, with Ben still attached.

Luckily Ben was kept in place by his seatbelt and officers announced that his only complaint had been that he had spilt his drink.
