Two men in Atlanta, Georgia, have survived a horrendous suicide attempt by circular saw. One man cut off both arms and the other sawed off one before being interrupted by the authorities who had been tipped off by their apartment manager, with whom a suicide note had been left.

Their arms were severed roughly six inches above the wrist. The police who arrived at the scene said they were confronted with “a lot of blood”.
