"This is from a recent shoot we did with tattooed man Matt Gone in his home state of Oregon. We sent our photographer Mark Berry up to photograph him. Matt had promised Mark an amazing time and the combination proved right.

Mr Gone is without doubt one of the most interesting people we've had the privilege to feature in the magazine. Someone who is fighting adversity every day due to his multiple illnesses and the fact that he has chosen to have such extreme tattoos. And what tattoos he has! They’re beautifully detailed, colourful and utterly unique.

This is one of my favourite picture from the shoot. It shows off Matt's energy, his aggression, his tattoos and of course his interesting taste in interior design. Somewhat similar to his tattoos, you might say. He perhaps
likes to while away his time playing chess, hmmm or, even my favourite, draughts."
