This event’s been running for just two years, but it’s already
well-established on the cosplay scene.

Set in the decadent surroundings of the recently revamped Clapham Grand, south London, The Cosplay Ball was more visually delicious than a vat of pick’n’mix – and with all the little Lolitas and animé girls, almost as sweet.

The atmosphere was friendly too, whether you were a cosplay veteran or virgin. The evening boasted an eclectic range of acts, from the beautiful Yaya Han and Ai Honey’s vampiric routine to the lusciously curvy Trixie Malicious performing traditional burlesque.

Folks danced the waltz and the polka as their favourite animé character, or their original creations. If cute girls wearing funny ears do it for you, grab a ticket for 2010.
