Most people would be happy with a tattoo of a naked woman on their leg. But for Lane Jensen that was a bit too two-dimensional, so he got some breast implants for her to give her the impression of a massive pair of breasts.

Lane, who is senior piercer and co-owner of Dragon FX Kingsway Tattoos and Piercing in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, had Brian Decker from Pure Body Arts in Brooklyn autoclave the implant grade silicone (the stuff that they carve to make nose and chin implants) into the shape of a pair of large breasts and implant them under the tattoo.

“Brian really wanted to do something for me, and I thought everyone loves women with big fake boobies, so why not give my tattoo breast implants and start a trend?” said Lane.

The procedure took 45 minutes. Brian created a pocket just big enough to fit the implant into and Lane expected the connective tissue to be holding them in place permanently after about six weeks. But things didn’t go to plan.

After a week things were still fine, if a little sore where one of the ‘nipples’ rubbed. Five days later things got nasty.

“Between 600 and 1000ml of clear to yellow fluid rushed out of my leg,” explains Lane. “The previous three nights I had suffered a high fever and sweating like mad and my neck became stiff. So after a conversation with Brian I decided to remove the implant, flush the wound, cut away unhealed tissue and suture it back together.”

And he did it himself. “I froze my leg and began cutting the implant out. It took me about an hour and fifteen minutes, cutting and suturing myself.”

He needed eighteen stitches in the end, which should come out soon. He’s healing well. “Now I feel great, my leg is looking better and the wound is healing well. I think my body was just trying to reject the implant and it had nothing to do with Brian's procedure.”
