What's the most violent thing you've done?

It depends. I've done some pretty crazy shit over the years and I really don't like to talk about it so I will just say the most violent thing I've ever done would have to be having giving someone a beating 'verbally' - I've been known to have a 'Brutal Language'.

No, I hear voices in my heart and they always remind me that honesty is the holiest disease.

*What's the worst lie you ever told your mum?

That I forgave her.

*Have you ever had a relationship with a fan or a stalker?

No, but I had a relationship with someone who later became a stalker and told me he would kill himself if he couldn't be with me after I dumped him and started dating my current boyfriend/guitarist [Mick Murphy] of six years. Now that I think about it, he's still alive and breathing, so I guess he got over me... haha!

*What's the strangest thing you've ever had in your mouth?

It's not what I've put in my mouth, it's more what's come out that people seem to always consider strange. I think when you're in the music business you are expected to kiss everyone's asses and say all the right things. I prefer to do the exact opposite.

*What's the weirdest dream you ever had?

Years ago, I dreamt the passcode to someone's answermachine and ended up hearing messages to another girl similar to ones being left for me from the guy I was dating. I later wrote a song about it called 'Luna' on the Tura Satana album Relief Through Release. Soon after that I dreamt I killed him. It was one of those recurring dreams.

*What's your idea of hell?

No red lipstick!

*Do you have any phobias?

Yes, I have a fear of drowning. I have no idea why because I love the water. I dream of it constantly and have woken up unable to breath and choking in my sleep on many an occasion. Maybe I was a surfer in a past life and drowned. Recently, I developed a fear of big-rig trucks and low-grade David Lee Roth impersonations.

Let me rephrase that: People who constantly talk about big-rig trucks and impersonate David Lee Roth. I have a phobia about people who call themselves musicians when they are really truck drivers.

*Did you see that film The Exorcism Of Emily Rose? The titular character claimed to be possessed by Adolf Hitler. If you had to be possessed by someone, who would you prefer it to be?

Elizabeth Short - the infamous Black Dahlia. I think it would be interesting to know the real story about how and why she was murdered. Hmmm... I suppose Marilyn Monroe and Kurt Cobain might be on that list as well because they went down in history as committing suicide but most people believe they were murdered. I definitely believe Marilyn was murdered, because she just knew too much.

*What's the craziest rumour about you that's actually true?

That I used to be a rapper.

*You've always used a lot of religious imagery in your band's artwork - if you were a saint, which one would you be?

Joan of Arc, because she stands alone in history. Many women have found sanctity in the cloister, some have shown bravery in battle, but no other female saint died at the stake condemned by an ecclesiastical tribunal as a witch and a heretic. Her story was incredible but true.

*Leading on from that... If the Virgin Mary manifested herself to you, what do you think she would say?

She probably wouldn't say anything. She would be too busy taping my mouth shut in fear of what I might try to say.
