Do you ever hear voices in your head?

I am a medium, so of course I use mental mediumship.

What is mental mediumship?

It's when you are receiving, you can see, mentally, a spirit person or you can hear the spirit person talk.

Do you get that quite a lot?

It's the nature of my work. I am clairvoyant and clairaudient. My guide, who is a spirit guide, Sammy, he talks to me regularly. It's like you and I conversing like this. And, of course, I've got the mental mediumship. Spirit people can talk and be very tangible. The ones that can't do the actual voice link give me it through mental mediumship.

Have you ever worried you were mentally ill?

I have never, ever thought, right throughout my life, that there was a mental illness with me. I know I am not ill.

A couple of hundred years ago they'd have chucked you in a padded cell in a straitjacket.

Absolutely they would. And before then they would have put me on a chair and dunked me in water to see if I drowned or not.

If you could have a superpower, what would you choose? This isn't really fair, as then you would have two.

I would, wouldn't I? Do you still want me to answer that?

I would like the power of healing to heal the world.

In society or individually?

Ailments and sickness are part and parcel of life. I would like to heal the world of all wrongdoings, get everything brought into harmony so everyone isn't living in fear.

Do you believe that aliens exist?

Yes, I do. I have seen alien lifeforms.

Really?

Yes, I was doing an investigation with the Most Haunted team and we went to one location where in the residual energy I saw three figures of alien lifeform.

What did they say?

I described them but I didn't communicate with them as it was only their residual energy.

Right.

They had been there and left that mental picture there in the atmosphere.

I've seen many, plenty, and I am still seeing them to this day.

Have you ever seen a famous ghost?

Yes, I've seen Frank Sinatra and Michael Landon from Bonanza.

Can you do readings for animals too?

No. Not to my knowledge.

How come?

Animals have a spirit but a lesser consciousness. They haven't got the art of conversation, so how are you going to communicate with them unless you are of their species? Animals generally are functional only by instinct. Humans have instinct and intellect.

If one of those lowland gorillas that has mastered American sign language died, could you talk to it?

I should imagine there would be a communication of sorts but it would only be visual. There would be a communication but it wouldn't be as with a human being who had passed over to the other side. It can't be done.

What is the biggest animal you've ever killed?

To my knowledge I've never killed anything.

Never hit anything in your car?

No, I've been fortunate.

I once took a fox's head off with a shovel.

Why?

It was suffering. I had just hit it in my car.

In those circumstances I'd go along with that. I've never hit anything and hopefully I never will.

Do you think you could take a fox's head off with a shovel?

I would do it. I would do it automatically because suffering is not the name of my game. If that was the speediest and most humane way to help that animal then yes.

What is your idea of hell?

Where people are dwelling, all of the same type of person, who have got something in common the way they are and they all dwell in this pitiful, darkened, non-lit atmosphere. And probably linked in with that, if you were actually walking through it physically, you would smell a stench you would never ever have come across in your life. There is probably not fire because I don't believe hell has that; the lower regions of the spirit world has a place that all the not-so-goods go to and that is the way that hell state is for them.

Could you channel someone who was in hell?

In the lower regions of the spirit world, yes, I could channel an inhabitant there. I wouldn't want to link with that soul because I know of the nature that they would be like. I wouldn't like to house for a short time.

Did you or do you have an imaginary friend?

No.

Sam, your spirit guide, isn't imaginary is he?

No, he isn't imaginary. I suppose there were spirit children that used to come around me.

How did you select Sam? Or did Sam select you?

I believe we come back many, many times for soul growth, we can't just do it in one lifetime. And in a previous lifetime I met Sam and in this lifetime he decided to be my guide throughout my life and help me with my mediumship; my connection to the spirit world.

Do you know what music Sam likes and which clothes he would wear?

I do, I do. I can give you it all. He was Ethiopian in his physical life, standing about 5ft3in, not a heavyset build, a little bit of, if you like, designer stubble to the chin and under the nose. He is quite an unassuming kind of man. He's a very wise man. As for music: He loves - would you believe it? - Shirley Bassey, like I do. He likes the Bee Gees. And he loves me to play... American...

Celine Dion is the one. He loves her.

He's got a sense of humour. He's not morbid. If I am in a situation where I dance then Sam will be doing the same. Has anyone else seen Sam?

My wife has seen his outline. Other mediums have seen him when they have been at the theatre. I've never described him before.

What happens if someone walks through him or sits on him?

What actually happens is if someone comes close to him when he is close by, they will feel their whole body go cool or get a tingling feeling. His energy is not naturally comparable to anything here on Earth. It's not dense; it's very light. That is basically what he is made up of when he's in our atmosphere.

Coprophilia, bestiality or necrophilia?

None of them. I wouldn't choose any of them. We've got these superb things about us called choice and free will to choose. I would choose none of them.
