Drug abuse is harmful. However, when we say 'harmful', we wouldn't normally mean it quite in the way demonstrated here.

This man, believed to be from Arkansas, was reportedly so high following a 4-5 days methamphehtamine binge, that he cut himself open with a butcher knife and started taking out his intestines with his bare hands. Fortunately, local cops were on the scene in a flash, and cuffed the 'felon' down in order to prevent any further removal of internal body bits.

Oh yes, and he survived too. Let's hope he's since kicked his habit.
