It could almost be like something out of a HP Lovecraft or Jules Verne novel, either way this catch in Malaysian waters of a small shark with legs and webbed feet is a rather unusual find. Like Jaws Jr mating with Donald Duck, for instance.

The mystery was compelled further when reputed marine professor Dr Zulfigar Yasin noted that fish species with legs or bony fins, to his knowledge, do not exist in Malaysian waters. "There is a possibility [it] could have swum from other waters," he said.
