Peng Shuilin somehow survived a devastating accident when he was hit by a truck and literally cut in half in 2004.

The crash left just 2.56ft of the 49-year-old's body, and he only lived thanks to the combined efforts of 20 doctors.

Since then, Peng has astonished medics in his successful battle to overcome his problems, and he was recently fitted with a cradle and artificial limbs, with which he is now learning to walk again.
