We've become obsessed with Clint Malurchuck. He's a Canadian ice hockey player. In 1989 his carotid artery in his throat was cut when an opponent's skate caught his neck.
Nine audience members fainted, two suffered heart attacks, and three of his teammates were sick on the ice at the gory sight. Amazingly, Clint left the ice under his own power, received 300 stitches and made a full recovery.
