Who says magazine work is hard? Earlier this year I was dispatched to the Sydney Mardi Gras, where the message for 2006 was that - regardless of colour, creed, sexuality, religion or belief - all people of the world should treat each other with respect and dignity.
Of course, dignity went right out the window after 10 minutes as transsexuals and ladyboys held hands, skipping down the road beside an enormous float by the Scandinavian Vagina Pagans, celebrating the degendered fanny.
After a long day of celebration and debauchery, the march finished with fireworks and an exclusive after-party in Sydney's Moore Park. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take our camera in, but believe me - they really know how to party Down Under.
