Download Festival

The UK's hardest festival returns to Donington Park

The rock was loud, the beer warm, and the people sexy as hell. This year's Download Festival was louder, bigger, and better than ever.

Highlights for us included Billy Idol singing 'Jump' by Van Halen, Slipknot's revolving drum kit, the midgets on motorbikes, pickpocketing The Towers Of London's hairspray and then watching them getting beaten up by Hells Angels, Lemmy singing with the MC5, 3 Inches of Blood singing about orcs, meeting an enormous snake, the Eighties B-Line Matchbox Disaster's very tight black trousers, and getting drunk with the Tokyo Dragons.

But somewhere we found time to talk to some of you lot who turned up to drink, fuck, and get deafened.

One Man Army: We saw this man, but were far too scared to talk to him. Obviously.
