With feathers fluffed and hot pants firmly in place, the Brighton Pride 2006 procession hit the road just before noon and wound its merry way around town. The theme this year was Carry On films, and with titles such as Carry On Cruising and Carry On Cowboy providing inspiration, the parade saw muscle-bound sailors and Brokeback wannabes prancing around in next to nothing.

And talking about nudity, full marks to the middle-aged lady who walked around stark naked except for a feather hat and fingerless gloves - you may have resembled Bubbles De Vere from Little Britain, but you've got guts, lady.
